DISCOVER YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF
Our most fundamental human needs reflect our innermost desires to have the freedom to be our authentic selves, to bring our gifts and talents forward into the world, and to find belonging with others who love and support our true selves. My goal is to provide you with support and guidance as you journey towards actualizing this life vision.
As we explore your personal experiences and the meaning you have attributed to them – lending itself to the creation of your worldview, sense of self, and how you understand others – we will cultivate a deepened understanding of the areas of potential for growth and change unique to you.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is collaborative, holistic and inclusive. It is adaptable and unique to you and your needs. With genuine compassion, empathy and respect, I will support you to:
- cultivate healthy and joyful relationships with yourself and others;
- strengthen your boundaries and your ability to honour them;
- improve your communication skills, for deepened intimacy and healthier conflict resolution;
- augment your resiliency, capacity to cope and ability to regulate your nervous system;
- develop greater emotional intelligence through a robust self-care practice;
- leverage your talents and gifts, supporting your ability to bring your dreams to fruition; and,
- define a values-based pathway to authentic living that honours you!
You deserve to experience emotional and psychological safety, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic support. Every single human being deserves to feel understood and accepted. Working with your ‘right fit’ therapist will awaken your courage to rediscover your capacity to love yourself and to bring your gifts to the world in authentic alignment with your vision for your life and relationships.

My Theoretical Orientation
My theoretical orientation integrates techniques, interventions, and strategies from many empirically supported therapeutic modalities.
This allows me to remain flexible and adaptive in supporting you to achieve your therapeutic goals.
My work is grounded in humanistic and psychodynamic therapies, existentialism, narrative therapy, depth psychology, emotionally-focused therapy, Jungian therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems, dialectical behavioural therapy, positive psychology and attachment theory. Interventions and techniques originate from these many therapeutic frameworks, while also incorporating experiential and skill-building techniques, mindfulness practices and somatic techniques, and exposure strategies, to name but a few.

My Commitment to Liberation
I have always been passionate about social justice.
I have witnessed, lived, and studied, how the kyriarchy – the intersectional systems of oppression, domination, suppression, and subjugation – have maintained and driven the increase of mental ill-health. The mechanisms by which this is accomplished is that systems of oppression are designed to alienate us from ourselves and others.
An act of rebellion is essential to reclaim our personal power and to dismantle the kyriarchy. Psychotherapy, in my opinion, is one of the greatest tools to do so. My aim, and endless commitment, is to do whatever I can to practice decolonized and anti-oppressive psychotherapy. This is embedded in how I work with my clients: how client issues are framed and the thoughtful use of language, the collaborative nature of our work together, and by creating opportunities for clients to be empowered within our therapeutic relationship. It is a mindful and intentional practice recognizing how coloniality shows up in psychotherapy and taking purposeful action to address and transform the unique form it might take within the therapeutic relationship.

Discover a world of possibilities
I strive for inclusivity and creating a safe space for vulnerability, authenticity, and room to practice new ways of being.
I work from an intersectional framework – feminist, anti-racist, 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming, sex positive, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent and body positive. My therapeutic style is gentle, compassionate and empathetic, while also curious, encouraging and celebratory.
In collaboration, we will create opportunities for growth, healing, and empowerment.
Currently, I work with clients working through complex post-traumatic stress disorder, polyamory and non-monogamy, anxiety and depression, bi-polar disorder, major life transitions and bereavement, and ultimately, identity and the search for one’s authentic self.
If you would like to address issues outside this scope, please reach out and we can have a conversation about your therapeutic goals and whether I might be the right therapist for you.

If you require financial accommodation, please reach out. I offer reduced rates on a sliding scale to individuals that are in need.
Please note that I believe in taking an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and anti-capitalist approach when pricing my services. These fees reflect my current level of expertise, knowledge and skill, AND my desire to support accessibility to mental health services, WHILE also balancing my own mental wellbeing, and ability to invest in my professional and personal goals. I believe my rates are quite competitive, but please note that my pricing reflects a commitment to economic justice, and as such, it is not meant to be a basis by which to judge the legitimacy of other practitioner’s prices.
